Newlands, Commissioner ORDER WHEREAS-Columbia Natural Gas Limited ("Columbia") applied August 29, 1980 subsequently amended by an Application dated September 15, 1980, to amend its filed tariff concerning :.ates to be charged for natural gas service rendered by the Company in its service area; and WHEREAS Columbia has applied for permanent relief to recover the increased cost of Alberta natural qas from its suppliers plus certain related charges; and WHEREAS the Commission has reviewed the Applications and supporting material and finds that the filing of revised tariff schedules is necessary in the public interest; and WHEREAS the increased cost of Alberta natural gas is automatically included in Columbia's billing to all its special contract large volume customers. BRITISH COLUMBIA UTILITIES COMMISSION ORDER 2 NUMBER G-56-80 NOW THEREFO~E the Commission hereby orders Columbia as follows: 1. The Commission accepts for filing, effective with consumption on and after September 1, 1980, the revised tariff schedules: (a) Schedule I incorporating a rate increase of 22.0 cents per Mcf. (b) Schedule II, III and IV incorporating a rate increase of 21.0 cents per Mcf. 2. The Commission accepts for filing, effective with consumption on and after September 1, 1980, revised cost of service contracts incorporating a rate increase of 0.2 cents per Mcf for Cominco Ltd., Fording Coal Limited, and Kaiser Resources Ltd.
