BRITISH COLUMBIA UTILITIES COMMISSION ORDER NUMBER T-9-82 2 NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity No. T-9-82 issue to Aim Satellite Broadcasting Corp. covering the ownership, construction and operation of a pay-television undertaking serving the Greater Vancouver Regional District, all as more particularly described in the Application and hearing record, subject to the following condition: (a) Prior to the commencement of operations Aim Satellite Broadcasting Corp. will file with the Commission copies of any contracts with systems of cable providing for the delivery of pay-television services. 2. The Certificate will expire if Aim Satellite Broadcasting Corp. has not commenced the operation of the said pay-television undertaking by December 31, 1983. 3. A complaint which the Commission finds is related to a matter which may be in contravention of the guidelines for enforcement of the obscenity provisions, Criminal Code of Canada may be referred to the Attorney General for investigation and the Commission may suspend the Certificate until such matter is concluded. 4. No variation or alteration in the Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity or this Order may be made without the approval of the Commission first obtained.
