Taylor, Chairman; J.D.V. Newlands, Deputy Chairman; D.B. Kilpatrick, Commissioner; and N. Martin, Commissioner o R D E R Application by Princeton Light and Power Company, Limited ("Princeton Light") for a 3.198% interim refundable rate increase; and WHEREAS Commission Order No. G-98-85 established June 10, 1986 as the date of commencement of a public hearing of the September 10, 1985 Application; and WHEREAS circumstances necessitate a change in the commencement date of the said public hearing. NOW THEREFORE the Commission hereby varies Order No. G-98-85 and orders Princeton Light and Power Company, Limited as follows: 1. 2. Princeton Light will arrange for publication not later than Thursday, February 20, 1986 of a Notice of Public Hearing, as per attached copy, in one issue each of such appropriate news pUblications as may provide adequate coverage for the service area of the utility. 3. Princeton Light will file with the Commission not later than Friday, February 28, ~986 any additional prepared testimony and supplemental material upon which it proposes to rely. 4. Interested persons intending to be present and participate in the public hearing should give notice of intention to do so to the Commission Secretary, and to the Applicant, to be received not later than Friday, March 7, 1986. should state the nature of your interest in the proceeding. C (/,,' c;-/ I ,'::: f:S COw.~ NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING THE .~PPLIC.Zl.TION Princeton Light and Power Company, Limited ("Princeton Light") applied September 10, 1985 pursuant to Section 67 of the ~tilities Commission Act, to increase its Tariff Rate Schedules 3.198% effective October 1, 1985. The interim increase was authorized by Commission Order No. G-83-85 subject to refund with interest, with a further Order of the Commission to determine the disposition of the Application. By Commission Order No. G-98-85 the Commission determined that a public hearing of the Application is required. THE PUBLIC HEARING e Commission has set down the Application for public hearing commencing at 10:00 a.m., local time, Wednesday, March 19, 1986, at The Royal Canadian Legion Hall, located at 172 Bridge, Princeton, B.C. PUBLIC INSPECTION OF THE APPLICATION The Application and supporting material are available for inspection at the offices of Princeton Light and Power Company, Limited located at 91 Billiter Street, Princeton, B.C. A copy of the Application and supporting material is also available for inspection at the office of the British Columbia Utilities Commission, Fourth Floor, 800 Smithe Street, Vancouver, B.C. INTERVENTIONS Any person intending to attend the hearing should provide written notice to be received not later than Friday, March 7, 1986 to the Commission Secretary, and to the Applicant. Those persons intending to give evidence or cross-examine witnesses should, in addition, provide a brief written statement of the nature of their interest in the proceeding. SUBMISSIONS BY INTERESTED PERSONS Any person intending to file a written submission must file one copy of the submission to be received not later than Monday, ~arch 10, 1986 by the Commission Secretary and the Applicant.
