Martin, Commissioner o R D E R WHEREAS The Corporation of the City of Nelson ("City of Nelson") applied May 21, 1986 to file Electrical Utility Regulatory By-Law No. 2183, 1986 applicable to electric service rendered by City of Nelson in its service area; and WHEREAS the amendments specified in Utility Regulatory Amendment By-Law No. 2183, 1986 are to permit the City of relson to increase all customer rates, excluding the Industrial Incentive rates, by 1.45% effective as soon as possible; and WHEREAS the Commission has reviewed the Application and supporting material and finds that the proposed increase in electric service rates is supported by increased costs beyond the control of the City of Nelson and is necessary in the public interest. NOW THEREFORE the Commission hereby orders The Corporation of the City of Nelson as follows: 1. ~ 2. The City of Nelson is directed to publicize, as soon as possible, in an appropriate manner, the approval of the rate increase in order that all customers may be made aware. Such notification should advise that the rate increase is supported by increased costs beyond the control of the City of Nelson.
