Hydro and Power Authority Discussions concerning the above-noted matter have involved Canadian Forest Products Ltd. ("Canfor"); B.C. Hydro and Power Authority ("B.C. Hydro"): Regional District of Mount Waddington ("the Regional District"), and others, for a considerable period of time. To date no agreement satisfactory to all parties has been reached. The purpose of the hearing, therefore, is to ensure that all aspects related to this important matter are reviewed in a public forum before the British Columbia Utilities Commission ("the Commission"). The Commission invites all interested parties to attend and participate.
