Newlands, Deputy Chairman; and D.B. Kilpatrick, Commissioner o R D E R WHEREAS British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority ("B.C. Hydro") applied February 24, 1987, pursuant to Section 67(2) of the utilities Commission Act ("the Act") for Commission approval of a proposed amendment to Tariff Rate Schedule 1844 in its Electric Tariff covering the rates to be charged for electric service rendered by the Authority in its service areaj and WHEREAS the proposed amendment provides for a l2-month extension from the March 31, 1987 termination date contained in Tariff Rate Schedule 1844; and WHEREAS the Commission has reviewed the Application and supporting material and is satisfied that thE reauestee amendment is appropriate anc in the public interest. Nm~ THEREFORE the Commission hereby oreErs British Solumbia Hydro and Power Authority as follows: 1.
