Ltd. Rate Considerations BEFORE: J.D.V. Newlands, Deputy Chairman: and N. Martin, Commissioner o R D E R WHEREAS by letter dated October 29, 1987 Inland requested the commission to consider that a deferral account be established to defer revenue shifts that arise from movement to negotiated rates for non-captive Industrials and the movement of North Central Plywood ("NCP") from Rate 5 to a captive rate; to permit flowthrough of changes in the commodity cost of gas and retroactive changes in Westcoast Tolls on a "go-forward" or prospective basis: and WHEREAS the Commission has considered these matters and concurs that it is in the public interest for an interim measure to be in place which will provide an adequate safeguard for Inland and its customers. NOW THEREFORE the Commission approves the following: 1. Hydro") applied for Commission approval and acceptance for filing of amendments to its filed Electric Tariff; and WHEREAS the amendments are in recognition of the connection on October 21, 1987 of the Village of Bamfield to the Integra ted System of B.C. Hydro by means of a new 3-phase distribution line, with the deletion of Bamfield from Rate Zone II and the former diesel generation taken out of active service; and WHEREAS the Commission has considered the Application and is satisfied that it properly serves. the public interest.
