Ltd. BEFORE: J.D.V. Newlands, Deputy Chairman; and June 1, 1987 N. Martin, Commissioner o R D E R WHEREAS Inland Natural Gas Co. Ltd. applied for Commission approval concerning the establishment of deferral accounts for the purpose of recording certain accounting adjustments as follows: 1. An estimated $1.8 million excess revenue collected as a result of interim amendments to the contract demand charge contained in the gas sales agreement between Inland and Westcoast Transmission Company, Limited ("Westcoast"). 2. An estimated $1.1 million resulting from a non-recurring gas purchase cost reduction for the period July 1, 1986 through June 30, 1987, together with interest at the unfunded debt rate of 8.5% per annum; and WHEREAS the Applications were embodied in letters from Inland Natural Gas Co. Ltd. as follows: 1. (a) May 27, 1987 relating to item 1 aforenoted. BR!TlSH COLUMBIA UTILITIES COMMISSION ORDER NUMBER G-32-87 2 NOW THEREFORE the Commission hereby orders Inland Natural Gas Co. Ltd. as follows effective the date of this Order: 1. Inland is to establish a deferral account in the amount of $1.8 million as a revenue deferral to fiscal 1988. 2. Inland is to establish a deferral account in the amount of $1.1 million and Inland's rates, effective July 1, 1987, will recognize a nomination of 4900 10 3 m 3 of natural gas purchased from its supplier, Westcoast Transmission Company, Limited. 3. The Commission will determine the appropriate disposition of the matters referred to in clause 2 above. DATED at the City of Vancouver, in the Province of British Columbia, this,?~ day of June, 1987.
