BEFORE: J.D. V. Newlands, Deputy Chairman; and W.M. Swanson, Q.C., Commissioner o R D E R WHEREAS ICG Utilities (British Columbia) Ltd. ("ICG") applied September 6, 1988, to increase its filed Gas Tariff, General Service Rate to all customers served by the Whistler B.C. Distribution System; and WHEREAS the increase is a result of a 10 percent increase in the cost of service margin allowed for in the contract between ICG and the Resort Municipality of Whistler dated December 6, 1985 which will account for approximately 3.8 percent increase in rates charged to customers; and WHEREAS the Commission has considered the Application and is satisfied that the increase in gas rates is in the public interest. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. Gas Tariff - Whistler Third Revision Page 40 interim basis, effective December 1, 1988. 2. ICG will notify its customers, bv way of a customer bill notice. that the rates will increase on an interim basis effective December 1, 1988. they must be expressed in writing to the Commission Secretarv prior to January 31, 1989. 3. The Commission, following concerns, will make a final determination in rates on or before February 28, 1989.
