Swanson, Q.C., Commissioner CER TIFICATE OF PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY WHEREAS by Commission Order No. G-27 -89 dated May 10, 1989, the Commission approved Pacific Northern Gas Ltd.'s ("PNG") May 5, 1989 Application to extend gas service to the Village of Port Edward; and WHEREAS PNG provided final cost estimates for the main extension and applied June 13, 1989 for a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity for the construction and operation of natural gas utility plant to provide natural gas service to the Village of Port Edward. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders Pacific Northern Gas Ltd. as follows: 1. PNG is granted a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity under Sections 51 Commission Act for the construction, operation and maintenance of utility plant to the Village of Port Edward. 2. PNG shall file with the Commission, monthly progress reports on the construction cost of the project, until such time as it has been completed and a final report submitted, along with annual reports on the number of customers connected to the project.
