BEFORE: J.G. McIntyre, Chairman; N. Martin, Commissioner; and W.M. Swanson, Q.C., Commissioner ORO E R WHEREAS Pacific Northern Gas Ltd. ("PNG 1988 Interruptible Revenue Credits amounting to $584,472 from Westcoast Energy Inc. ("WEI") to gas sales customers who purchased gas during the same calendar year; and WHEREAS Commission Order No. G-9-88 approved PNG's January 11, 1988 Application to pass through the WEI demand charges and to place the anticipated monthly Interruptible Revenue Credits into a deferral account; and WHEREAS the Commission has reviewed the application and supporting material and finds that the refunding of the 1988 Interruptible Revenue Credits to all gas sales customers is necessary and in the public interest. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders PNG as follows: 1. The Commission approves PNG's Application to refund 1988 Interrruptible Revenue Credits amounting to $584,472 from WEI to gas sales customers who purchased gas during the same calendar year, plus interest at the average prime lending rate accrued to the date of refund.
