Swanson, Q.C., Commissioner o R [) E R WHEREAS on November 18, 1988, Sunshine Valley Utilities Ltd. ("Sunshine") applied to the B.C. Utilities Commission (lithe Commission") for exemption from the provisions of the Utilities Commission Act (lithe Act"); and WHER EAS Sunshine sent a notice to all its customers on September 27, 1988 explaining its plans to apply for exemption from regulation as a utility and advising customers having concerns to write to the Commission before October 31, 1988; and WHEREAS the Commission has received no correspondence from any customer of Sunshine; and WHEREAS the Commission has considered the Application and is satisfied that an Order exempting Sunshine from certain sections of the Act, properly conserves the public convenience and interest; and WHEREAS the Commission may, pursuant to Section 114 of the Act, reconsider, vary or rescind an Order made by it. NOW THEREFORE the Commission pursuant to its powers under Section 103(3) of the Act orders as follows: I.
