BRITISH COLUMBIA UTILITIES COMMISSION IN THE MATTER OF the Utilities Commission Act, S.B.C. 1980, c. 60, as amended IN THE MATTER OF a Natural Gas Supply Contract for Celgar Pulp Company BEFORE: J.G. McIntyre, Chairman; J.D.V. Newlands, Deputy Chairman: N. Martin, Commissioner; and W.M. Swanson, Q.c. Commissioner o R D E R WHEREAS Section 85.3 of the Utilities Commission Act ("the Act"), requires that Energy Supply Contracts ("Contracts") between producers and consumers, be filed with the Commission for approval; and WHEREAS on August 18, 1988 the Commission issued Rules for the filing of such Contracts; and WHEREAS Inland Natural Gas Marketing Ltd. has filed with the Commission a natural gas supply contract between Celgar Pulp Company ("Celgar") and its supplier - Remington Energy Ltd. ("Remington"), for the period commencing November I, 1989 to November I, 1994 inclusive under Rules - Section 1.2.3: and WHEREAS the Commission has reviewed the Contract and supporting material and is satisfied that it is in the public interest. NOW THEREFORE pursuant to Section 85.3 of the Act the Commission approves and accepts for filing the Energy Supply Contract between Celgar and Remington dated May I, 1989 which is designated as Energy Supply contract, NGSC No. 10.
