Page, Commissioner ORO E R WHEREAS Order-in-Council No. 468 dated March 18, 1988, approved the assignment and transfer of the powers and duties of the Minister of Transportation and Highways under Part ·7 of the Pipeline Act (lithe Act") to the Minister of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources; and WHEREAS Norcen Energy applied by letter dated June 7, 1988 for approval and acceptance for filing by the British Columbia Utilities Commission ("the Commission") of the Crude Petroleum Tariff No.1 and No.2, dated January 1, 1984, including the Rules and Regulations under Part 7 of the Act ("the Application"); and WHEREAS the Rates and Rules and Regulations contained in the Tariff, apply to the gathering and transportation of crude petroleum by pipeline from the established receiving points of Norcen at Boundary Lake, Beatton area, Milligan area, Peejay area and other points to Westcoast Petroleum Ltd.'s or Petro Canada Inc.'s refinery near Taylor, B.C.; and u "", ~ v <: .c" 0 e;,c " , P-1-88 ) ) ) ) ) ) July 7, 1988 ) ) ) ) ) ) Resources Limited (11 Norcen") ••• /2
2 P-1-88 WHEREAS the Commission has considered Noreen's Application and finds that it is in accordance with the requirements of the Act. NOW THEREFORE the Commission hereby approves and accepts for filing for Noreen Energy Resources Limited, the Crude Petroleum Tariff No.1 and No.2, dated January 1, 1984, attached to their letter to the Commission dated June 7, 1988, as follows: 1. The Rates contained in Tariff No.2, dated January 1, 1984; and 2. The Rules and Regulations contained in Tariff No.1, dated January 1, 1984.
