2 WHEREAS Commission Order No. G-49-88 dated May 10, 1988 approved WKP's reauest to postpone the public hearing to mid-September, 1988 in order to complete the securing of an alternative site for the gas turbine and to undertake environmental studies: and WHEREAS on October Application for an Energy Project Certificate dated September 29, construct and operate a Gas Turbine Industrial Park in Oliver, B.C.; and WHEREAS the Commission has considered all of the foregoing. NOW THEREFORE pursuant Commission hereby orders as follows: I. A public hearing is to commence at 9:00 a.m. local time, Tuesday, November 22, 1988 at the Southwind \10tor Inn, located at Road Ill, Highway 97, Oliver, B.C. 2. WKP is to publish, not later than Wednesday, October 19, 1988, a Notice of Public Hearing, as per attached copy, in one issue each of Vancouver Sun, the Oliver Chronicle and other local news publications as mav properly provide adeauate notice to the population in the service area of the Company. 3.
