McIntyre, Chairman; and N. Martin, Commissioner o R D E R WHEREAS Pacific Coast Energy Corporation (npCEC") has filed with the Commission an Application and an Alternative Application (lithe Applications") for an Energy Project Certificate to construct and operate natural gas pipeline facilities to and on Vancouver Island; and WHEREAS Commission Order No. G-III-88 set down the Applications for public hearing to commence January 24, 1989 in Vancouver, B.C.; and WHEREAS the Commission has decided that a pre-hearing conference will be beneficial to the proceedings. NOW THEREFORE the Commission Orders as follows: 1. PCEC and Registered Intervenors are advised that a pre-hearing conference pertaining to the Applications will take place at 9:00 a.m. local time, Wednesday, January 18, 1989 in the Hearing Room at the Office of the Commission, Fourth Vancouver, B.C. 2. The pre-hearing conference will cover var ious procedural matters to include, but not limited to: the phasing of the public hearing; the order of and time required for presentation of information, evidence and examination of witnesses, etc.; the need for scheduling hearings at alternative locations; any other matters that will enable the hearing to cover and thoroughly review all aspects of the Applications.
