Swanson,Q.C., Commissioner o R D E R WHEREAS Princeton Light and Power Company, Limited (npLpn) applied October 10 and 20, 1989 to amend its Electric Tariff Rate Schedules covering the rates to be charged to customers effective December 1, 1989; and WHEREAS PLP filed additional information and a customer notice on November 7, 1989; and WHEREAS on November 21, 1989 PLP advised the Commission that it did not want to proceed with its interim rate increase until such time as rate design matters had been approved by the Commission; and WHEREAS the Commission has considered the matter and has determined that the Application shall be heard in a public forum. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. A public hearing is to commence at 9:00 a.m. local time, Tuesday, February 27,1990 at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall, 172 Bridge Street, Princeton, B.C. 2. On November 21, 1989 PLP advised the Commission that it did not want to proceed with an interim rate increase until such time as the Commission had approved its rate design plans. Commission Order No. G-61-89 set the application down for public hearing. THE PUBLIC HEARING The Commission has set down the Application for public hearing to commence at 9:00 a.m. local time, Tuesday, February 27, 1990 at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall, 172 Bridge, Princeton, B.C. The Division of the Commission named to review the Application will comprise of the following Commission members: Mr. J.D.V. Newlands, Deputy Chairman and Chairman of the Division Mr. W.M. Swanson, Q.C., Commissioner PUBLIC INSPECTION OF THE APPLICATION The Application and supporting material are available for inspection at the offices of PLP in Princeton, B.C. A copy of the Application and supporting material is also available for inspection at the office of the British Columbia Utilities Commission, 6th Floor, 900 Howe Street, Vancouver, B.C. INTER VENTIONS Any person wishing to be present at the public hearing and to give evidence or cross-examine witnesses should provide written notice, to be received not later than Friday, January 26, 1990 to the Commission Secretary, and to the Applicant. The notice should include a brief statement as to the nature of the interest in the proceedings.
