Leighton, Commissioner o R D E R WHEREAS on January 23, 1990 Squamish Gas Co. Ltd. (IISquamish") applied for Commission approval of an amendment to its Gas Tariff - General Service Rate Schedule covering rates charged for propane service in its service area; and WHEREAS the amendment is to permit Squamish to increase its rates as a result of an increase in the cost of product from the Company's suppliers; and WHEREAS the Commission has reviewed the Application and supporting material and is satisfied that the filing of the amendment to the Gas Tariff - General Service Rate Schedule is necessary and in. the public interest. NOW THEREFORE the Commission hereby orders Squamish as follows: 1. The Commission accepts for consumption on and after February 1, 1990 amended Gas Tariff - General Service Rate Schedule incorporating an increase of $0.088 per 100 cubic feet for propane grid system service at Squamish, B.C. as follows: Twenty-sixth Revision of Sheet No.1 O. .. The average base price of propane relating to the operation of the deferral account approved by Commission Order No. G-13-89 is increased from $0.094 to $0.102 per litre effective February 1,1990. 3. An appropriate notice of explanation of the increase will be directed to all affected customers.
