BEFORE: J.G. McIntyre, Chairman; J.D. V. Newlands, Deputy Chairman; and N. Martin, Commissioner o R D E R WHEREAS Pacific Northern Gas Ltd. ("PNG") pursuant to Section 67(4) of the Utili ties Commission Act applied on January 30, 1990 for Commission approval of amendments to ra tes charged for gas service resulting from changes to Westcoast Energy Inc. ("WEI") toll and gas commodity charges effective January 1, 1990; and WHEREAS PNG requested by letter dated February 7, 1990 to amend the effective date to February 1, 1990 and that the increased WEI charges for the month of January 1990 be placed in a deferral account and recovered at a future time; and WHEREAS the Commission has reviewed the Application and is satisfied tha tit properly conserves the public interest. NOW THEREFORE the Commission approves and accepts for filing the following by PNG: 1.
