Swanson, Q.C., ) Commissioner ) ORO E R WHEREAS BC Gas Inc. - Inland, Columbia and Fort Nelson Divisions ("BC Gas") applied June 29, 1990 for Commission approval to terminate Rate Schedule 1, Option A, Promotional Incentive Grant Program (lithe Program") effective July 31, 1990; and WHEREAS the Program allows BC Gas to assist in the customer acquisition and financing of high efficiency residential gas furnaces at a special rate; and WHEREAS the Commission was concerned that potential customers would not receive adequate notice of the termination of the Program; and WHEREAS the Commissio~ has reviewed the Application and the Program and finds that termination of Rate Schedule 1, Option A is in the public interest. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders BC Gas as follows: 1. Rate Schedule 1, Option A, Promotional Incentive Grant Program is approved to be terminated and closed effective September 30, 1990. 2. The Commission will accept, subject to timely filing, Gas Tariff Sheets effecti ve September 30, 1990 in accordance with the Order.
