Swanson, Q.C., ) Commissioner ) o R D E R WHEREAS Squamish Gas Co. Ltd. (IISquamish Gas") applied October 4, 1990 for Commission approval of amendments to its Gas Tariff, Rate Schedule 1 - General Service Rate to allow for a pass-through of a forecasted increase in propane product costs from its supplier; and WHEREAS the amendments provide for a rate increase of $0.374 per Cd and a Rider of $0.094 per Cd effective for the period from October I, 1990 to June 30, 1991 to amortize the accumulated balance in the Propane Purchase Deferral Account, effecti ve with consumption on and after October I, 1990; and WHEREAS the Commission has reviewed the Application and supporting material and is satisfied that the increases are appropriate and in the public interest. NOW THEREFORE the Commission hereby orders Squamish Gas as follows: I. The average base price of propane relating to the operation of the deferral account approved by Commission Order No. G-13-90 is increased from $0.102 to $0.136 per litre effective October 1, 1990. 2. The Commission approves and accepts for filing, effective October I, 1990, amendments to Gas Tariff, Rate Schedule 1 - General Service Rate as follows: Twenty-Seventh Revision of Sheet No.1 O. 3. An appropriate notice of explanation of the increase in rates and the use of a Rider to amortize the Propane Purchase Deferral Account is to accompany all customer bills containing the amended rates.
