Newlands, Deputy Chairman; N. Martin, Commissioner; and W.M. Swanson, Q.c., Commissioner o R D E R WHEREAS Commission Application by British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority (flB.C. Hydro") to Close the Availability of Residential and General Dual Fuel Interruptible Service <"Electric Plus") provided by Rate Schedules 1105, 1205, 1206, and 1207; and WHEREAS the Commission, by letter dated January 15, 1990, required B.C. Hydro to file its price and interruption criteria that will apply to all Electric Plus customers; and WHEREAS B.C. Hydro filed, by letter dated April 17, 1990, information pertaining to its price and interruption criteria under Electric Plus rate schedules; and WHEREAS the Commission has reviewed the Application and is satisfied that service under Electric Plus rate schedules should be interrupted whenever there is a lack of surplus hydro energy and that service cannot be provided economically from other energy sources, is necessary and in the public interest. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders B.C. Hydro as follows: 1. Interruption Criteria for Electric Plus Rate Schedules, is approved effective immediately as follows: B.C. Hydro may, at any time and from time to time, interrupt the supply of electricity under this rate schedule. B.C. Hydro interruptions of electricity under this rate schedule to no more than 120 days in total prior to Apr 11 1. 1991. Commencing April 1, 1991, B.C.
