("PNG") applied for a Comrnission Order under Sections 53(3) and 53(4) of the Utilities Commission Act to extend service to the Village of Port Edward; and WHEREAS PNG entered into a franchise agreement with the Village of Port Edward dated April 24, 1989 which has been submitted to the Ministry of Municipal Affairs, Recreation and Culture for approval; and WHEREAS the Commission has reviewed the franchise agreement and is satisfied that it conserves the publlc interest. NOW TIlER EFORE the Commission hereby orders Pacific Northern Gas Ltd. as follows: The Commission will issue a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity to PNG for the purpose of serving the Village of Por t Edward conditional upon receipt of: l. Final calculations satisfactory to the Commission which verify that the extension meets the criteria specified in PNG's Gas Tariff, Standard Terms and Conditions, Article V, Extension of Distribution Mains.
