("BC Gas") applied June 4, 1990, 1990, pursuant to Section 57 of the Utilities Commission Act (lithe Act"), for approval of the issuance of 1,000,000 Common Shares to be reserved, set aside and kept available for issuance from time to time under the Dividend Reinvestment and Share Purchase Plan ("the Plan"); and WHEREAS the Pian came into effect on November l, 1985 with the initial issue of 200,000 Common Shares approved by Commission Order No. G-79-85; and WHEREAS BC Gas advises that the number of Common Shares under the Plan is nearing depletion and requires additional Common Shares to be reserved; and WHEREAS the Commission has reviewed the Plan and is satisfied that approval is necessary and in the public interest. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders BC Gas as follows: Pursuant to Section 57 of the Act, the Commission approves the issuance of I ,000,000 Common Shares of BC Gas under the Dividend Reinvestment and Share Purchase Plan.
