On May 3, 1991 BC Gas Inc.("BC Gas") applied to the Commission for approval of a long-term natural gas contract with Mobil Oil Canada ("Mobil") pursuant to Rules Respecting Energy Supply Contracts ("the Rules") and Section 85.3 of the Utilities Commission Act ("the Act"); and B. The Gas Purchase Contract dated April 24, 1991 provides for Mobil to supply BC Gas with a long-term gas supply of 285 10 3 m 3 per day for a period of 10 years commencing November 1, 1991; and C. The Commission has reviewed the Gas Purchase Contract and supporting material and is satisfied that approval is necessary and in the public interest. NOW THEREFORE the Commission hereby orders BC Gas as follows: The Gas Purchase Contract dated April 24, 1991 providing for the long-term supply of 285 10 3 m 3 per day of natural gas from Mobil to BC Gas for a term of 10 years commencing November 1, 1991, is approved and accepted pursuant to the Rules and Section 85.3 of the Act.
