IN THE MA1 TER OF the Utilities Commission Act, S.B.C. 1980, c. 60, as amended and IN THE MA1 TER OF an Application by BC Gas Inc. BEFORE: J.G. McIntyre, ) Chainnan; ) J.D.V. Newlands, ) Deputy Chainnan; ) February 7, 1991 W.M. Swanson, Q.C. ) Commissioner ) ORDER WHEREAS: A. On August 17 and 28, 1990 BC Gas Inc. - Columbia and Inland Divisions (tlBC Gas") applied to the Commission for approval of Gas Tariff amendments to permit the calculation of the heat content of energy used by large industrial customers to be made on a daily basis; and B. On September 6, 1990 the Commission approved the BC Gas tariff amendments subject to confmnation from the large industrial customers of their concurrence to the amendments to the calculation of heat content; and B. On January 22, 1991 BC Gas advised the Commission that it had obtained confmnation from its large industrial customers to enable the daily heat content readings to be carried out; and D. The Commission has reviewed the Application and finds that approval is necessary and in the public interest NOW THEREFORE the Commission hereby orders as follows: 1. The Commission approves and accepts for fIling for BC Gas amendments to the calculation of the heat content in its Gas Tariff, Terms and Conditions to large industrial customers, effective immediately, as follows: Inland Diyision Fifth revision of Sheets No. 93 and 108 Third Revision of Sheet No. 121 Columbia Diyision First Revision of Sheets No. 71 and 76 DATED at the City of Vancouver, in the Province of British Columbia, this day of February, 1991.
