Hall, ) Commissioner ) o R D E R WHEREAS by Commission Order No. G-44-90 the public hearing of the Application of British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority ("B.C. Hydro") for approval of a Standard Form Industrial Contract for bulk transmission rate customers together with Tariff Sheets for amendments to Rate Schedule 1821 General Service - Transmission and the filing of Rate Schedule 1880 - General Service Transmission - Emergency, Maintenance and Special Supply was postponed to October 16, 1990 in Vancouver, B.C.; and WHEREAS Commission staff issued an additional information request to B.C. Hydro to which a response will be made by September 21, 1990; and WHEREAS on September 14, 1990, at the Pre-hearing Conference, there were additional information requests made of B.C. Hydro; and WHEREAS B.C. Hydro and various interested parties have agreed to engage in further discussions with a view to narrowing the issues; and WHEREAS the Council of Forest Industries, The Mining Association of British Columbia and Electrochemical Producers, collectively referred to as the "Industrial Users", requested a further delay in the proceedings; and WHEREAS the Commission has determined that an additional delay into the proceedings is necessary and in the public interest. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. The public hearing date of the Application is further postponed to 9:00 a.m., November 19, 1990, in the Hearing Room of the B.C. Hydro will advise, by information package Interested Parties and all Transmission Service, Rate Schedule 1821 customers that the public hearing into the Application is further postponed from October 16, 1990 and will commence on Commission's Hearing Room, Sixth Floor, 900 Howe Street, Vancouver, B.C. parties with a copy of Commission Order No. G-68-90. 3. The Industrial Users will submit their pre-filed evidence to the proceedings by October 19, 1990. 4. B.C. Hydro will provide its Policy Documents to all parties to the proceedings explaining the need and ra tionale for its proposed FadIi ties Agreement.
