Newlands, ) Deputy Chainnan; and ) K.L. Hall, ) Commissioner ) ORDER WHEREAS: A. On September 25, 1991 BC Gas Inc. - Lower Mainland Division ("BC Gas") filed for Commission approval, Tariff Supplement No. 30 - Rate Schedule 2501, Interruptible Gas Service Agreement with the Vancouver Island Gas Joint Venture ("the Joint Venture") ; and B . The Agreement will allow BC Gas to supply interruptible gas to the Joint Venture at negotiated prices set out in Appendix A of the Agreement on a month-to-month basis for supply at the interconnection between the facilities of BC Gas and Westcoast Energy Inc. at Huntingdon, B.C.; and C. Tariff Supplement No. 30 will allow BC Gas to charge the Joint Venture $1.10 per GJ for the month of September 1991; and D. The Commission reviewed the Application and finds that approval is necessary and in the public interest NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. The Commission approves the BC Gas filing for Gas Tariff Supplement No. 30 - Rate Schedule 2501, Interruptible Gas Service Agreement with the Joint Venture, effective for the month commencing September 1, 1991. 2. The Commission approves, subject to timely filing, amendments to the negotiated prices as set out in Appendix A to the Agreement (Original Page 30-7). This approval is conditional on BC Gas filing concurrently, evidence acceptable to the Commission, that the amended price meets or exceeds the current spot price for natural gas at Huntingdon, B.c.
