Newlands, ) Deputy Chainnan; ) K.L.Hall, ) October 17, 1991 Commissioner; and ) F.e. Leighton, ) Commissioner ) o R D E R WHEREAS: A. On October 9, 1991 Squamish Gas Co. Ltd. ("Squamish Gas") filed with the Commission for approval, an Application for amendments to its Gas Tariff, rates covering the sale of natural gas to customers of its Squamish, B.C. grid system; and B. On August 8, 1991 Commission Order No. G-78-91 approved for Squamish Gas, rates for natural gas service for gas supplied from the Vancouver Island Natural Gas Pipeline, effective August 1, 1991; and C. The natural gas rates for Squamish Gas, effective October 1, 1991, are identical to those distribution rates approved by Order No. G-94-91 for Centra Gas British Columbia Inc. to communities on the Sunshine Coast and Vancouver Island; and D. The Commission has considered the Application and is satisfied that approval of rates for natural gas service is necessary and in the public interest.
