IN THE MATIER OF the Utilities Commission Act, S.B.C. 1980, c. 60, as amended and IN THE MATIER OF an Application by BC Gas Inc. BEFORE: M.K. Jaccard, ) Chair; ) L.R. Barr, ) Deputy Chair; and ) November 26, 1992 F.e. Leighton, ) Commissioner ) o R D E R WHEREAS: A. On June 11 and August 27, 1992 BC Gas Inc. - Lower Mainland Division ("BC Gas") applied to the Commission for approval to continue offering to customers Rate Schedule 2216 - Vehicle Refueling Service beyond the initial expiry date of July 31, 1992 which was approved by Order No. G-70-91; and B . The BC Gas submission provided a report on the reliability and performance of the vehicle refueling appliances ("VRA") covering the fIrst test installation in December 1990 to June 30, 1992 and proposed a new rate for use where separate metering was not appropriate ("Option B"); and C. The Commission has reviewed the BC Gas Application and progress report and fInds that the availability of Rate Schedule 2216 should continue until such time as the program is reviewed in conjunction with the utility's Least Cost Integrated Resource Plan ("LCIRP"). NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders BC Gas as follows: 1. The Application by BC Gas to continue offering Rate Schedule 2216 - Vehicle Refueling Service in the Lower Mainland Division inclusive of Option B rates is approved covering the period August 1, 1992 to December 31, 1993 or until such time as determined by the acknowledged LCIRP. 2. An application for extension of the VRA program into other BC Gas Divisions is not to occur until such time as the LCIRP has been acknowledged by the Commission.
