Jaccard, ) Chair; and ) October 8,1992 L.R. Barr, ) Deputy Chair ) o R D E R WHEREAS: A. On November 20, 1991, BC Gas Inc. - Lower Mainland, Inland, Columbia and Fort Nelson Divisions ("BC Gas"), pursuant to Sections 64, 67, and 106 of the Utilities Commission Act, (lithe Act") filed a Revenue Requirements Application and applied for an Order granting an interim and permanent rate increase of 3 percent, effective with consumption on and after January, 1992; and B. By Order No. G-63-92 dated August 5, 1992, the Commission issued its Decision into BC Gas' November 20, 1991 Revenue Requirements Application; and C. On August 18, 1992, the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers ("I.B.E.W."), which was not a party to the public hearing which resulted in the August 5, 1992 Decision also applied to the Commission pursuant to Section 114 of the Act for Reconsideration of a part of the Decision; and D. On August 27, 1992 the Office and Technical Employees' Union ("O.T.E.U.") which was not a party to the public hearing which resulted in the August 5, 1992 Decision applied to the Commission pursuant to Section 114 of the Act for Reconsideration of a part of the Decision; and E. On September 4, 1992 BC Gas applied to the Commission pursuant to Section 114 of the Utilities Commission Act (lithe Act") for a Reconsideration of the August 5, 1992 Decision and, pursuant to Section 92 of the Act, for an Extension of Time upon which to file new Gas Tariff Rate Schedules; and c C \

By Order No. G-84-92, the Commission, among other things, fixed October 26, 1992 as the date for a hearing and oral argument on the Application of BC Gas for a Reconsideration of the August 5, 1992 Decision; and G. The Commission has considered the Applications of the I.B.E.W. and the O.T.E.V. and has determined that the following actions are required. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows; 1. The I.B.E.W. shall file with the Commission Secretary by no later than Friday, October 16, 1992, a written submission showing just cause why the Commission should consider all or part of the request for Reconsideration. 2. The O.T.E.V. shall file with the Commission Secretary by no later than Friday, October 16, 1992, a written submission showing cause why the Commission should consider all or part of the request for Reconsideration. 3. BC Gas, Intervenors and interested parties to the 1992 BC Gas Revenue Requirements hearing are invited to provide written views on or before October 23, 1992 on the I.B.E.W. and O.T.E.V. submissions made in Orders 1 and 2, above. 4. If the I.B.E.W. and the O.T.E.V. Applications for Reconsideration are granted, in whole or in part, the Commission will thereafter fix a date and place for such hearing.
