Newlands, ) June 25, 1992 Deputy Chainnan; and ) N. Martin, ) Commissioner ) o R D E R WHEREAS: A. On April 16, 1992 BC Gas Inc. ("BC Gas") applied to the Commission for approval to amend its fIled Gas Tariff Rate Schedules to pass-through an increase in propane charges of $0.4235/GJ of propane vapour, equivalent to $0.0108/litre of liquid propane, to grid system customers in Revelstoke, B.C. effective August 1, 1992; and B. On June 1, 1992 the Commission, by Order No. G-46-92, approved an Energy Supply Agreement between BC Gas and ICG Propane Inc. covering the supply of liquid propane at Revelstoke commencing September 1, 1992; and C. BC Gas recalculated the increase in propane charges to take into account the price of propane in the 1992/93 Energy Supply Agreement and determined that an increase of $0. 1373/GJ, equivalent to $0.OO35/litre, was required to be effective August 1, 1992; and D. The Commission has considered the Application and is satisfied that an increase in propane rates to all Revelstoke grid system customers is necessary and in the public interest. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. An amendment to Gas Tariff Rate Schedules to Revelstoke grid system customers to reflect an increase in propane charges in the amount of $0. 1373/OJ, equivalent to $O.OO35/litre of liquid propane, is accepted, subject to timely filing of such schedules by BC Gas, effective with consumption August 1, 1992. 2. BC Gas will provide all Revelstoke grid system customers with an explanation the increase in the rate charged.
