IN THE MAT IER OF the Utilities Commission G-88-92 Act, S.B.C. 1980, c. 60, as amended and IN THE MATTER OF an Application by British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority BEFORE: M.K. Jaccard, ) Chair; and ) September 23, 1992 L.R. Barr, ) Deputy Chair ) o R D E R WHEREAS: A. On September 15, 1992 British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority ("B.C. Hydro") applied to the Commission for approval of the supply of power in excess of 45 KVA by way of Special Contract allowed for in the Electric Tariff, Terms and Conditions Page B-35 to C.E.D. Developments Ltd. at Queen Charlotte City, B.C.; and B. The Agreement, known as Electric Tariff Supplement No. 13 will allow B.C. Hydro to supply up to 175 kW of maximum demand for an initial term of four years from July 24, 1992 and requires the customer to provide a revenue guarantee of $8,762 as a contribution toward the cost of the B.C. Hydro extension on an easement on private property; and C. The 1992/93 energy rate of 13.23 cents per kW.h charged under the Agreement will be subject to annual cost adjustments, based on the unit cost of power purchased by B.c. Hydro for supply to C.E.D. Developments; and D. The Commission has reviewed the Agreement and finds that approval is necessary and in the public interest. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. The July 24, 1992 Special Contract between B.C. Hydro and C.E.D. Developments Ltd. known as Electric Tariff Supplement No. 13, is approved and accepted for filing effective July 24, 1992.
