On April 16, 1992 BC Gas Inc. ("BC Gas") applied to the Commission for approval to amend its filed Gas Tariff Rate Schedules to pass-through the rate changes as a result of the Commission's Decision on Rate Design Phase A; a one-time lump sum adjustment to customer rates on the Columbia Division system; Westcoast Energy Inc. ("WEI") 1992 toll changes; removal of the negative rider on Inland Division Rate Schedules 1 and 2; Revelstoke propane cost increases; NOV NANG 1992 Toll increases and the disposition of certain deferral accounts ("the Application "); and B. The Commission, following the April 16, 1992 BC Gas Application, dealt with and approved some matters contained in the Application and issued the following orders: • Order No. G-51-92 (Revelstoke propane), • Order No. G-91-92 (Burrard Thermal); and • Order No. G-103-92 (WEI Toll Changes); and C. On October 13, 1992 BC Gas advised the Commission that the requested approval date for tariff changes had lapsed and now requested an extension of time to a date that would coincide with other rate changes; and D. The Commission has considered the Application and is satisfied that amendments to the BC Gas tariff are necessary and in the public interest. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. The Commission approves for BC gas amendments to its Gas Tariff effective November 1, 1992 as follows: (i) Rate changes for the Lower Mainland and Inland Divisions approved by the Commission Decision on Phase A Gas Cost Methodology. (ii) For the Inland Division customers served under Rate Schedules 1 and 2, the Negative Rider of $0.057 per GJ is approved to be removed effective November 1, 1992. . .. /2 SIXTH FLOOR, 900 HOWE STREET, VANCOUVER, s.G. G-I04-92 2 (iii) The NOVA/ANG 1992 Toll increases are approved and accepted effective with customer consumption on November 1, 1992. The increased NOV NANG 1992 toll increases not collected during the period January 1 to October 31, 1992 are approved to be set up in a cost of gas deferral account, the disposition of which will be by way of future Commission Order. 2. For Columbia Division customers, the Commission denies a lump sum billing adjustment. The deferral account is to remain for future disposition by way of Commission Order. 3. BC Gas is to inform all affected customers of the tariff changes approved by this Order and provide each large industrial customer served under each Schedule with an approved copy of the appropriate Rate Schedule .. 4. The Commission will accept, subject to timely filing by BC Gas, amendments to Gas Tariff Rate Schedules which incorporates amendments approved by this Order effective November 1, 1992.
