Newlands, ) June 1, 1992 Deputy Chainnan; and ) Norris Martin, ) Commissioner ) ORDER WHEREAS: A. Section 140 of the Utilities Commission Act ("the Act"), authorizes the British Columbia Utilities Commission ("the Commission") to recover its expenses arising in the fiscal year commencing April 1, 1992, out of the administration of the Act and to fix and collect levies from public utilities and other persons; and B. The recovery of expenses is based on the Commission's approved budget amounting to approximately $2,756,000 for the fiscal year commencing April 1, 1992; and C. The levy will be based on a charge against each utility'S total gross energy sales for the calendar year ending December 31, 1991 and will be billed by the Commission on a quarterly basis; and D. The Commission may adjust the fourth quarter fiscal year billing to utilities to reflect, amongst other matters, additional revenue received or expenses incurred during the fiscal year ending March 31, 1993. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. A levy, at the rate of $0.001073 per $1 of total gross utility energy sales for the calendar year 1991, shall be paid by and collected from the public utilities listed in Section 2 of this Order, for the recovery of Commission expenses in the fiscal year commencing April I, 1992. . . ./2

The following public utilities shall be billed and shall pay to the Commission the levy fixed in Section 1 for the fiscal year commencing April 1. 1992 by quarterly instalments: Electric Utilities British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority Princeton Light and Power Company, Limited West Kootenay Power Ltd. The Corporation of the City of Nelson Hemlock Valley Electrical Services Limited Yoho Power Ltd. Yukon Electric Co. Ltd. Gas Utilities BC Gas Inc. Centra Gas British Columbia Inc. Northland Utilities (B.C.) Limited Pacific Coast Energy Corporation Pacific Northern Gas Ltd. Squamish Gas Co. Ltd. Steam Heat Utility Central Heat Distribution Limited.
