McIntyre, } Chainnan; } J.D.V. Newlands, } July 9, 1992 Deputy Chainnan; and } N. Martin, } Commissioner } o R D E R WHEREAS: A. On December 20, 1991, Pacific Northern Gas Ltd. (lfPNG If ) applied to the Commission for approval of four long-term natural gas contracts for supply of 5,600 GJ/day in total for a term of 15 years, commencing November 1, 1991 with Czar Resources Ltd. and Orbit Oil & Gas Ltd., Encor Energy Corporation Inc. and Ocelot Energy Inc. (If the Producers") pursuant to Rules Respecting Energy Supply Contracts (If the Rules") and Section 85.3 of the Utilities Commission Act (lithe Actlf); and B. On April 2, 1992, PNG provided the Commission with amended contract documents for gas supply arrangements for 545.6 10 3 M3/day with CanWest Gas Supply Inc. ("CanWestlf) for a term of 11 years commencing November 1, 1991; and C. The Commission has reviewed the Gas Purchase Contracts from the Producers and CanW est and is satisfied that approval is necessary and in the public interest. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: Pursuant to the Rules and Section 85.3 of the Act, the Commission approves the following gas purchase agreements: 1. Contract dated November 1, 1991 between PNG and CanWest. 2. Contract dated October 24, 1991 between PNG and Czar Resources Ltd. and Orbit Oil & Gas Ltd. 3. Contract dated October 24, 1991 between PNG and Encor Energy Corporation Inc. 4. Contract dated October 25, 1991 between PNG and Ocelot Energy Inc.
