BEFORE: M.K. Jaccard, ) Chair, and ) L.R. Barr, ) October 14, 1992 Deputy Chair ) o R D E R WHEREAS: A. On August 31, 1992 BC Gas Inc. - Lower Mainland Division ("BC Gas") filed an Application with the Commission for approval to amend rate schedules and service agreements with small industrial transportation customers as follows: • File Small Interruptible Transportation Schedule 2012 (Interim), amend the Pro Forma Agreement for Interruptible Transportation Service: Level 1 (Tariff Supplement No. 19). • Cancel Schedules 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011, and the related Pro Forma Interruptible Gas Transportation Service Agreement (Tariff Supplement No.2); and B. The public hearing into the BC Gas - Phase A - Gas Cost Methodology, reviewed gas supply options and made a Decision that affected transportation service for BC Gas customers; and C. The Commission reviewed the Application and finds that a decision on transportation service is required. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders BC Gas as follows: 1. The Commission denies the BC Gas Application of Interim approval of Rate Schedule 2012 - Small Interruptible Transportation Service, and directs BC Gas to cancel related Tariff Supplement No. 19. 2. The Application by BC Gas to cancel Rate Schedules 2008,2009,2010 and 2011 along with related Tariff Supplement No.2 is approved. . . ./2

BC Gas is to make available Rate Schedule 22 - Large Industrial Transportation Service to small volume users by reducing minimum charges on an interim basis for the gas contract year ending November 1, 1993 only, or until such time as alternative transportation tariffs for small volume users have been approved by a future Order of the Commission. The following paragraph is to be added to the BC Gas - Lower Mainland Division, Gas Tariff Rate Schedule 22 - Sheet No. 22.04: "Until such time as alternative transportation tariffs for small volume users have been approved by the BCUC, the minimum monthly charge will be the basic charge plus an amount based upon a minimum monthly volume of 1500 GJ." 4. The Commission will accept, subject to timely filing by BC Gas, amended Gas Tariff rate schedules in accordance with the terms of this Order. 5. BC Gas is to inform all affected customers of the tariff changes and provide each transportation service customer affected under each Rate Schedule with an approved copy of the appropriate Rate Schedule.
