BEFORE: M.K. Jaccard, Chairperson; and ) L.R. Barr, Deputy Chairperson ) December 21, 1993 ORDER WHEREAS: A. On December 14, 1993, Centra Gas British Columbia Inc. ("Centra Gas") filed with the Commission for approval, amendments to Gas Tariff Rate Schedules and rates for natural gas distribution service to retail customers located on Vancouver Island and the Sunshine Coast served by the PCEC natural gas transmission pipeline; and B. On December 20, 1993, the Ministry of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources ("MEMPR") advised the Commission and Centra Gas of the current retail price for fuel oil which forms the basis for natural gas rates to be charged to distribution, grid system customers, in accordance with the Consolidated Rate Stabilization Agreement, effective with consumption January I, 1994; and C. The Commission has reviewed the Application and finds that approval to amend rates for natural gas service is necessary and in the public interest. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders Centra Gas as follows: 1. The Commission approves and accepts for filing for Centra Gas, rates for natural gas service effective January 1, 1994 as follows: Third Revision of Page I Small General Service Rate No.1 (SGS-l) Fifth Revision of Page 2 Small General Service Rate No.2 (SGS-2) Fourth Revision of Page 3 Large General Service Rate No.1 (LGS-l) Fourth Revision of Page 4 Large General Service Rate No.2 (LGS-2) Second Revision of Page 5 Large General Service Rate No.3 (LGS-3)
