On August 6, 1993 British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority ("B.C. Hydro") and West Kootenay Power Ltd. ("WKP") jointly applied to the Commission for approval of a Power Purchase Agreement ("the Agreement") for supply of energy and capacity to WKP's integrated system at Creston, Vernon, Princeton, and South Slocan from October 1, 1993 through September 30,2013; and B. The Agreement and B.C. Hydro Electric Tariff Rate Schedule 3808 filed in draft form as a replacement of Rate Schedule 3807 and the previous Power Purchase Agreement dated October 15, 1986 were submitted in compliance with the Commission's April 22, 1993 Rate Schedule 3808 Decision and Commission Order No. G-27-93; and C. On September 22, 1993 B.C. Hydro agreed to WKP's August 11, 1993 letter requesting amendment and clarification of the definition of maximum capacity in Section 9(3)C of the Agreement; and D. The Commission has reviewed the Agreement and finds that approval is necessary and in the public interest. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. The Commission approves the Power Purchase Agreement between B.C. Hydro and WKP, as amended September 22, 1993, covering the period October 1, 1993 through September 30, 2013. .../2

Hydro is directed to file, in a timely fashion, an executed copy of the Amended Power Purchase Agreement in tariff supplement form, along with Rate Schedule 3808 - Transmission Service - West Kootenay Power Ltd.
