BEFORE: M.K. Jaccard, Chair; and ) L.R. Barr, Deputy Chair ) April 15, 1993 WHEREAS: A. On February 5, 1993 the Commission by Order No. G-8-93 approved for BC Gas Inc. - Lower Mainland Division ("BC Gas") the extension of the expiry dates of Interruptible Gas Service Agreements known as Tariff Supplements No. 16, 17 and 18 for Columbia Bitulithic Ltd., for service to the Company's asphalt plants located in Richmond, Coquitlam and Matsqui B.C., from December 31, 1992 to April 1, 1993; and B. On April 1, 1993 BC Gas applied to the Commission to further extend the gas rates for Tariff Supplements No. 16,17 and 18 from April 1, 1993 to January 1,1994 or until such time as there is a lower rate resulting from a Commission Decision after BC Gas' Phase B Rate Design Hearing; and C. The Commission has reviewed the Application and finds that approval of an extension to the term of the Interruptible Gas Service Agreements is necessary and in the public interest. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. The Commission approves for BC Gas an extension to the term of the Interruptible Gas Service Agreements with Columbia Bitulithic Ltd. and Tariff Supplements No. 16, 17 and 18 from April 1, 1993 to January 1, 1994 as follows: Second Revision of Page No. 16 First Revision of Page No. 16 - 7 Second Revision of First Revision of Page No. 17 First Revision of Page No. 17 - 7 Second Revision of First Revision of Page No. 18 First Revision of Page No. 18 - 7 DA TED at the City of Vancouver, in the Province of British Columbia, this day of April, 1993.
