G-2-93 AN ORDER IN THE MAI TER OF the Utilities Commission Act, S.B.C. 1980, c. 60, as amended and An Application by BC Gas Inc. BEFORE: M.K. Jaccard, Clair, ) K.L. Hall, Commissioner; and ) January 6,1993 F.C. Leighton, Commissioner ) WHEREAS: A. On December 22, 1992 BC Gas Inc. Columbia Division ("BC Gas") applied to the Commission for approval of NOVA toll changes retroactive to January 1992 and for new tolls effective January 1, 1993; and B. The Application requested that the January 1, 1992 NOVA toll reductions be set up in a deferral account and that the January 1, 1993 NOVA toll increase be passed through to customers effective that date; and C. The Commission has considered the Application and is satisfied that a deferral account and amendments to the BC Gas tariff due to NOVA toll amendments are necessary and in the public interest. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. The Commission approves for BC Gas the use of the deferral account to capture the NOVA toll reduction retroactive to January 1, 1992, the disposition of which will be made by way of future Commission Order. 2. The Commission approves for BC Gas amendments to Gas Tariff Rate Schedules to account for the January 1, 1993 NOVA toll increase effective on that date as follows: Fourteenth Revision of Sheet No. 33.1 Eighteenth Revision of Sheet No. 34 Fourteenth Revision of Sheet No. 36 Nineteenth Revision of Sheet No. 39 Eighteenth Revision of Sheet No. 41 Sixth Revision of Sheet No. 44. 3. BC Gas is to inform all affected customers of the tariff changes approved by the Order and provide each large industrial customer, served under each schedule, with an approved copy of the appropriate Rate Schedule.
