AN ORDER IN THE MAT IER OF the Utilities Commission Act, S.B.C. 1980, c. 60, as amended and An Application by BC Gas Inc. BEFORE: M.K. Jaccard, Chair; ) L.R. Barr, Deputy Chair; and ) January 26, 1993 K.L. Hall, Commissioner; ) WHEREAS: A. On December 29, 1993 BC Gas Inc. ("BC Gas") applied pursuant to the Commission's Ru1es Respecting Energy Supply Contracts (lithe Ru1es") and Section 85.3 of the Utilities Commission Act (lithe Act") for approval of an Interruptible Gas Supply Agreement with Western Gas Marketing Limited ("WGML") and Cancarb Limited dated November 1,1992; and B. The Agreement will allow BC Gas to purchase up to 7.87 TJ/day of interruptible gas supplies; and C. The Commission is satisfied that the contract between BC Gas and WGML and Cancarb for the supply of short-tenn interruptible gas supplies should be approved. NOW THEREFORE pursuant to Section 85.3 of the Act and the Ru1es thereunder, the Commission orders as follows: 1. The Interruptible Gas Supply Agreement between BC Gas and WGML and Cancarb dated November 1, 1992 for gas supplies of up to 7.87 TJ/day is approved for the gas contract year commencing November 1, 1992. 2. BC Gas is to file for Commission approval amendments to pricing for gas supplies taken under this Agreement.
