BEFORE: M.K. Jaccard, Chair, ) L.R. Barr, Deputy Chair; and ) March 1, 1993 K.L. Hall, Commissioner ) WHEREAS: A. On February 18, 1993 BC Gas Inc. Lower Mainland and Inland Divisions ("BC Gas") applied to the Commission for approval of a waiver for the Monthly Demand Surcharge collected under Rate Schedule 22 - Large Industrial Transportation Service covering· the period November 1, 1992 to March 31, 1993; and B. The Commission's Decision on Gas Cost Methodology dated February 21, 1992 allowed BC Gas to incorporate various proposals concerning transportation tariffs including an Unauthorized Overrun Monthly Demand Surcharge ("the Surcharge"); and C. BC Gas advised the Commission that it was unable to provide all affected customers with a sufficient level of notice towards implementation of the Surcharge and requested a waiver from the provision for the period November 1, 1992 to March 31, 1993; and D. The Commission has reviewed the Application and finds that approval of a waiver of the Surcharge is necessary and in the public interest NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. The Application by BC Gas to waive the Surcharge applicable to customers served under Rate Schedule 22 - Large Industrial Transportation Service for the period November 1, 1992 to March 31, 1993 is approved. 2.
