Jaccard, Chairperson; and ) K.L. Hall, Commissioner ) February 17, 1994 ORDER WHEREAS: A. On February 10, 1994 British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority ("B.C. Hydro") applied to the Commission for approval of amendments to Rate Schedule 1755 - Private Outdoor Lighting (Closed) pursuant to Section 67(2) of the Utilities Commission Act; and B. The amendments to Rate Schedule 1755 allow the existing inefficient and aging Mercury Vapour ("MV") fixtures to be replaced with High-Pressure Sodium ("HPS") fixtures with approximately the same equivalent light output; and C. The Commission has reviewed the application and finds that approval is necessary and in the public interest; and NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: The amendments to Rate Schedule 1755 - Private Outdoor Lighting (Closed), allowing the replacement of MV with HPS fixtures, is approved effective immediately as follows: • Nineteenth Revision of Page C-48 • Tenth Revision of Page C-49 DATED at the City of Vancouver, in the Province of British Columbia, this day of February, 1994.
