BEFORE: M.K. Jaccard, Chairperson; and ) K.L. Hall, Commissioner ) May 24, 1994 ORDER WHEREAS: A. On November 30, 1993 Centra Gas British Columbia Inc. - Fort S1. John District ("Centra Gas") filed with the Commission an application to increase rates on an interim and permanent basis to customers effective January 1, 1994 ("the Application") pursuant to Sections 64 and 104 of the Utilities Commission Act ("the Act"); and B. Following public hearings on February 8-10, 1994 held in Fort S1. John, the Commission issued its Decision into the Application on March 11, 1994; and C. On Apri127, 1994 Centra Gas applied for a review and variance of the March 11, 1994 Commission Decision and Order No. G-19-94, pursuant to Section 114 of the Act; and D. Centra Gas advised the Commission that the Company had recorded an error in the accounting for its long-term debt and noted that it had understated debt costs in the Application by $38,633 for the 1994 test year; and E. The Commission reviewed the April 27, 1994 information filed by Centra Gas in connection with the Application and has determined that a reconsideration of its March 4, 1994 Decision with respect to 10ng-term debt costs is not required. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders that the Apri127, 1994 Centra Gas Application for variance of Order No. G-19-94 is hereby dismissed.
