BEFORE: M.K. Jaccard, Chair; ) L.R. Barr, Deputy Chair ) K.L. Hall, Commissioner; and ) February 5, 1993 F.e. Leighton, Commissioner ) WHEREAS: A. On January 4, 1993 BC Gas Inc. - Lower Mainland Division ("BC Gas") applied to the Commission for approval to extend the expiry dates of Interruptible Gas Service Agreements known as Tariff Supplements No. 16, 17 and 18 for Columbia Bitulithic Ltd., for service to the Company's asphalt plants located in Richmond, Coquitlam and Matsqui B.C., from December 31, 1992 to April 1, 1993; and B. BC Gas advised that the Agreements are under negotiation with the customer and that an extension to the contract tenn and the waiving of the minimum annual volumes was required in order to maintain service under the specified Tariff Supplements. C. The Commission has reviewed the Application and finds that approval of an extension to the tenns of the Interruptible Gas Service Agreements is necessary and in the public interest. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. The Commission approves for BC Gas an extension to the tenns of the Interruptible Gas Service Agreements with Columbia Bitulithic Ltd. and Tariff Supplements No. 16, 17 and 18 from December 31, 1992 to April 1. 1993 as follows: First Revision of Page No. 16 Original Page No. 16-7 First Revision of Page No. 17 Original Page No. 17 - 7 First Revision of Page No. 18 Original Page No. 18 -7 2. The temporary removal of the minimum annual volume requirements contained in Oause 1.8 and paragraph 2 of Appendix I in each of the agreements is approved.
