Ltd. for 1994/95 Propane Supply Arrangements BEFORE: M.K. Jaccard, Chairperson; and ) K.L. Hall, Commissioner ) October 27, 1994 ORDER WHEREAS: A. On October 12 , 1994 Squamish Gas Co. Ltd. ("Squamish Gas") applied to the Commission for approval of propane supply contract arrangements with Superior Propane Inc. ("Superior Propane"), pursuant to the Commission's Rules Respecting Energy Supply Contracts ("the Rules") and Section 85.3 of the Utilities Commission Act ("the Act"), for propane to supply Squamish Gas' bottled propane customers located in Squamish, B.C.; and B. On October 19, 1994 Squamish Gas requested approval to apply the $0.0224 per litre increase in the cost of propane, for the period November 1,1994 through October 31, 1995, against the credit balance in its Propane Cost Deferral Account; and C. The Commission has reviewed the contract arrangements and supporting material and is satisfied that approval is necessary and in the public interest. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. The propane supply arrangements for the period November 1, 1994 through October 31, 1995, between Squamish Gas and Superior Propane for propane supply to Squamish Gas' bottled propane customers at Squamish, B.C., are approved pursuant to the Rules and Section 85.3 of the Act.

The recovery of the increase in the cost of propane in the amount of $0.0224 per litre, to be recovered from the credit balance in the Propane Cost Deferral Account is approved for the period for November 1, 1994 through October 31, 1995. 3. Squamish Gas is directed to file a report as part of its next Revenue Requirements application (or, if earlier, by November 1, 1995) which demonstrates that the rate charged to bottled propane customers fully recovers the allocated costs of the utility to provide such service. 4 Squamish Gas is directed to file, in a timely manner, the executed propane supply contract with Superior Propane.
