Phase 2 - Revenue Stabilization Adjustment Mechanism and Sales Forecasts BEFORE: M.K. Jaccard, Chairperson; and ) L.R. Barr, Deputy Chairperson ) November 18, 1994 ORDER WHEREAS: A. On August 4, 1994 the Commission issued its Decision on BC Gas Utility Ltd.'s ("BC Gas") Phase 2-Revenue Stabilization Adjustment Mechanism and Sales Forecasts and required the utility to develop a proposal for Demand-Side Management ("DSM") incentive mechanisms by December 31, 1994; and B. On November 9, 1994 BC Gas applied to the Commission for approval to amend or extend the time upon which it was required to report on the DSM initiatives required in the Decision. BC Gas proposed filing a review of DSM incentive mechanisms by February 15, 1995 and to follow this review with a workshop and further discussions on this issue. A proposed DSM incentive mechanism would be filed in conjunction with the next BC Gas Integrated Resource Planning ("IRp") filing. BC Gas noted in its letter that it also has support from its IRP stakeholders group; and C. The Commission has reviewed the BC Gas application and finds that an extension of time for filing a proposal on DSM incentive mechanisms is required. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: The Commission approves for BC Gas a revised timetable within which to file with the Commission its DSM incentive initiatives as applied for in its November 9, 1994 Application.
