BEFORE: M.K. Jaccard, Chairperson; and ) K.L. Hall, Commissioner ) May 11, 1994 ORDER WHEREAS: A. On May 9, 1994 Centra Gas British Columbia Inc. ("Centra Gas") applied to the Commission for approval of a new Competitive Commercial Rate to E-Plus Customers Rate Class available to commercial customers located in its service territory connected to the Vancouver Island Natural Gas Pipeline; and B. The Gas Tariff Rate Schedule is available to existing commercial E-Plus customers served by British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority ("B.C. Hydro"). Each customer must have concluded a long-term gas supply contract with Centra Gas; and C. The Competitive Commercial Rate to E-Plus Customers will automatically be terminated coincidentally with the termination of B.C. Hydro's E-Plus rate; and D. The Commission has reviewed the Application and finds that approval is necessary and in the public interest.
