Jaccard, Chairperson; and ) L.R. Barr, Deputy Chairperson ) November 3, 1994 ORDER WHEREAS: A. On October 21, 1994 BC Gas Utility Ltd. ("BC Gas") applied to the Commission for approval to pass-through to all Revelstoke grid system customers an increase in the price of liquid propane as a result of a price increase in the cost of liquid propane purchased from Imperial Oil Limited effective September 1, 1994. The two-year propane supply contract was approved by Order No. G-44-93; and B. BC Gas also applied for approval to set a new reference price of $0.1148/GJ for propane effective November 1, 1994 for use in the Revelstoke Propane Cost Deferral Account and in its Gas Tariff Rate Schedules; and C. The Commission has considered the Application and is satisfied that approval is necessary and in the public interest. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. The Commission approves for BC Gas - Inland Division and the Revelstoke Propane Grid System the following: (i) A new reference price for propane of $0.1 148/GJ effective November 1, 1994 for use III the Revelstoke Propane Cost Deferral Account. (ii) A pass-through increase of $0.217/GJ to all Revelstoke grid system customers resulting from increased liquid propane costs in the Imperial Oil energy supply contract, effective November 1, 1994, pursuant to Section 67(4) of the Utilities Commission Act. (iii) BC Gas is to file, in a timely manner, the Gas Tariff Rate Schedules for the Revelstoke Propane Grid System approved by this Order.
